Heidi Klum and Seal have confirmed that they’re separating, after rumours of unrest surfaced on US gossip websites late last week.

“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart,” Heidi, 38, and Seal, 48, wrote in a joint statement. “This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”

The couple have four children: Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2.

After 13 years of wearing her lingerie-clad stuff down the catwalk and striking poses in catalogs and magazines for Victoria’s Secret, Heidi has decided to hang up her bra and undies and move on. The 37-year-old model said: “All good things have to come to an end, I will always love Victoria and never tell her secret. It’s been an absolute amazing time!”

The happy mother of four has been dealing with a heavy workload lately: in addition to her modeling gigs, she’s still hosting Project Runway and has designed an activewear collection for New Balance, set to debut this month on Amazon.
